Basic training

The section of the National Employment Agreement (GAV) relating to the provision of security services regulates the implementation and content of the compulsory basic training.

All members of the staff at Swiss Protection Service AG must complete this course. The course consists of at least 20 hours and covers the relevant topics to provide participants with the basic knowledge and skills required in the private security sector. Progress is tested after course completion by way of exam.

The basic training takes place two to four times per year.
